About
Hi my name is Drew Star originally I am from a Financial Services, Management and in more recent years Elderly Care Administration and Management sector. During the Covid-19 pandemic like so many people all across the world, lives were turned upside down and I really feel everyone found a new outlook on life, work and how valuable our time, family and friends are.
So... In April 2022, I decided to leave working the 9-5 job for corporate companies and utilise all the skills I have gained over my lifetime (learned with the help of my Grandfather and Mother when I was younger) to go self employed as a Multiskilled Handyman, this has already given me a much missed work/life balance, enabling me to complete an honest days work and earn a living in the process.
For many years I have always helped people with their DIY, Decorating, Repairs as well as their IT problems which has always given me personal satisfaction as I am a perfectionist, problem solver and I have been told a 'Jack of All Trades', one complement which I am given regularly by so many people over the years and which has stuck is "You're a Star!" and so that is how my business emerged...
My services are not limited to what I have advertised on this site, I will turn my hand to anything, if there is a job you need doing, contact me and I can let you know if it is within my skill set and experience.
