Front Gutters Repair on Terrace House
Original quotation was for new front gutter with eve trays on a terrace house and resealing the rear gutter whilst also adding eve trays. Scaffolding was already in place and paid for by customer. Quotation was for £800.We agreed on additional work for a dry ridge system requiring re-alignment of tiles. This incurred an additional £1300 (£2100 in total). Once the work had commenced (3 days later) it was established that previous cowboys hadn’t secured the dry verge system. Fitting the dry verges, already supplied, (see photo) incurred an additional cost of £500 (total cost and counting, £2600). Quotation was provided on 15/7 and work completed on 18/7. So, 1. New front gutter with eve trays and down pipe to lower gutter 2. Eve trays at rear (no gutter re-real and no concession made) 3. Dry ridge system and customer’s own dry verges fitted Total cost £2600. In conclusion, work appears to be to a good standard but at a very high cost (but expect that with roofing work-extorsion!). Work started at 8.00am and completed by 3:00pm on same day. Also, never expect the quoted price to be the final price as there will always be something else of significant add-on cost!

Repair Roof Tiles & Ridge Pointing
They were very knowledgeable and discussed the options for the roof repair. Work was carried out in a timely manner and quickly. All round a very professional job completed as per the agreed timing.
