I had an issue whereby I was getting hot water from both taps after getting a new pump fitted. The cold water tank had also heated up and was steaming. Will came over and immediately stated it must be that the new pump that was fitted the wrong way round, and that all that needed doing was to rotate the pump 180 degrees and put the hot water in the correct side of the pump. He went out and got a couple of new hoses for one side of the pump, replumbed the pump, and left taking the hoses that came with the pump. This didn't seem to make sense to me and he was unable to explain why this would mean hot water came out of both pumps and there didn't seem to be a set hot or cold side of the pump, plus a quick Google after he left told me it could be an issue with the immersion heater venting off, so I contacted the pump manufacturer. There was not in fact a hot or cold side to the pump, and Will had failed to identify this was the wrong kind of the pump for the plumbing system. He fundamentally failed to understand the issue, did not fix the issue, and to make matters worse I am unable to return the pump as he took the pump hoses with him and despite my requests has not returned them. He seems like a nice guy and if all you have is a basic leak then he will probably do an ok job, but he is completely unsuited to diagnosing and fixing more complex issues, and has left me hundreds of pounds out of pocket as I am unable to now return the pump due to him keeping hold of parts that came with it.

Thorough, efficient and effective. I'm exttremely impressed and delighted with Will's repair of a kitchen leak. He responded quickly and arrived promptly. Identified the source of the leak and traced through the pipework to ensure it was an isolated leak. He left the area clean an tidy, answered and explained the cause and effect of the leak, and also addressed several unrelated queries that I had. Will did a very good job installing a shower valve and a bath screen. When Will found that the chrome fitting of the new screen was damaged, he fixed it and the result was perfect. From the first contact all the way through Will kept me informed and provided a quote within my budget I would recommend.
