Shed Roofing and Barge Board Replacement
Work appears to have been completed to a good standard. Wayne was courteous, tidy and reasonably priced. There was a small snag but he returned within the hour and put things right; I was very impressed with that and I will use Blackwell Roofing again in future.
Re-attach loose gutter
The guttering was done quickly and well.
Restore/replace shed roofing felt
Job completed very satisfactorily. Men were pleasant and competent. They removed all the rubbish. I would recommend them.
Refelting
Well what can I say. At the moment the roof seems fine. It’s not the neatest of work but I’m sure it will be ok. Upon completion of the work I was handed an invoice and asked to pay there and then and in cash. I run a professional business and we always pay our invoices and staff on a Friday. As I delivered this information to Wayne he became very aggressive towards me, shouting loudly and squaring up to me. Not at any point did he mention cash to me and if he had I wouldn’t have used him. He then added 20% to his bill to cover his tax, which I don’t believe he will pay. This is unacceptable behavior by any standards and I won’t be using him again. Please be aware of his unprofessional attitude.
