I would love to thank them all for the speed they completed the job as it was limited time due to work commitments. Very polite and tidy worker

If I could leave 0 stars, I absolutely would. I hired this company to complete a full installation of ground screws, a timber base, and the assembly of a £7,000 log cabin. Unfortunately, from start to finish, the experience was nothing but delays, broken promises, and constant excuses. The first issue came with the ground screw installation. I was let down on the first two scheduled days, but I remained patient and understanding. When he eventually arrived, only some of the ground screws were installed, yet I paid in full for that stage of the work despite it not being completed. I was then told the remaining screws and timber base couldn't be finished until the cabin arrived. After waiting around a month for the log cabin to be delivered, we arranged another installation date. The day before, he informed me that he had an emergency. While inconvenient, we gave him the benefit of the doubt. I even had to unload and store the entire log cabin in my garage myself while waiting for him to return. From that point on, it was one excuse after another. There were constant delays, claims of missing materials, and repeated reasons why the work couldn't be completed. He had more than enough time to organise everything before attending the job ( 1 whole month) , so there was no justification for arriving unprepared. He eventually turned up on the Monday and Tuesday but completed very little work. In fact, I had to chase him just to get him back on the Wednesday to do what he had already been paid to do before finally leaving the job unfinished because I had zero faith he would get it done, was told that it would be finished on that Wednesday, I now have the worry and anxiety that what his done isn't even correct for someone else to come in and fit it. That should tell you everything you need to know. I am now left with a £7,000 log cabin sitting incomplete in pieces in my garden and have had to find and pay another tradesperson to finish the work he agreed to carry out. I'm sure this review will be met with another clever response or excuse, but the reality is that we couldn't have been any more patient, fair, or accommodating throughout this entire process. We gave multiple chances, accepted repeated delays, and trusted that the work would eventually be completed. This has been, without question, the worst experience I've ever had with a tradesman. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to think very carefully before doing so.

Max was most helpful and took loads of photos during the job which he finished quickly and left the site clean and tidy.

We were having a concrete base put down for our Garden Office. They arrived on time and completed the job efficiently, with a digger, concrete pour and skip all arranged by Max. Would recommend.

. I needed a concrete base layed for a log cabin and only had a matter of weeks for the work to be done. I'd only had online quotes and I wasn't very hopeful of the work getting done in time. Max at Totheoutside Garden made contact via this site. After an email and an introduction phone call , we met up later that day to discuss with work. Max is polite, helpful and respectful and put my fears to rest. A week later Max and Frank layed the concrete base. The area of the garden is a suntrap and they definitely had their work cut out in the heat. They are both hard workers and Max certainly knows is business. I am very happy with the work and the price for work. I would highly recommend Max and his company and if I need work done in the future, Max will definitely be top of my list.

We had a fantastic experience with Max and would highly recommend him. One thing we really appreciated was the time he took to talk us through the different orientation and location possibilities for the shed base. His advice helped us make the best use of our garden space, which we hadn’t fully considered ourselves. The concrete shed base was completed in just over half a day and the quality of the work is excellent. We were extremely impressed with both the speed and standard of the finished result. Max was friendly, professional and his communication was A1 throughout. He kept us informed every step of the way, so we always knew what was happening and when. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We’re delighted with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to use Max again in the future.
