Fill Holes with Bricks in House Apex
SYB did a great job repairing brickwork on the side of our house - the finish is spot on and you’d never know the holes were there. Great communication and the team left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Came out same day. Used a drone to show issues with roof. Explained in detail and answered our questions. Came out to install skylight and were friendly and proffessional.

The gentleman in charge was courteous and not pushy. His price was higher than we and friends thought it might be, but considering the weather etc. we decided to use him. He had two mates, they worked silently, bit of chat but no loud radio music! They worked efficiently and had returned two sagging gutters and repaired two broken sections in about an hour and a half, maybe less. We forgot to time them. Would recommend this team.
Chimney Repair and Capping
Steve and his team have done a good job for us. The chimney has been capped. He was delayed due to traffic but he telephoned to let me know, which was great. Good job well done.

Fix Leak in Pitched Roof
I had three responses to my job. SYB was the first to respond and I arranged for them to give me a quote the following day. The other two responded later and I arranged for them to visit the next day too. SYB was the only one which arrived on time and they appeared professional and knowledgeable. I got a reasonable quote from Steve. The other two roofers arrived late. They both undercut Steve's quote but didn't appear as professional and one would only accept cash to do it at his low quote. I phoned Steve the following day and he matched the price of the other roofer. We agreed to get the job done the following day. On the day the roofers were delayed by another job and hadn't arrived at the agreed time. I phoned Steve who explained the situation. This could have been handled better with them phoning me. I took some photos so we could do a before and after and the workmen got to work. They did a very good job pointing the area by the roof to block a yawning hole and fitted drip boards under the tiles to the guttering as the person who fitted my roof a few years back hadn't done this leaving a big gap under my roof letting in water which was the cause of the damp in my bedroom. When I checked my loft after I could see the holes had been fixed and the felt under my roof was no longer flapping in the wind. I got photos off Steve taken of the work on the roof so I can see what they've done. SYB is a professional company which I would recommend and use again.

Capping Fake Chimney on New Build
Great experience from Steve and the team. I put my roof issue on “MyJobQuote” and Steve rang me not long after. Gave me a good quote , very competitive and reassured me he could complete the work within the next day. Next day, Steve stayed in constant communication with me regarding the work to be completed and expected times of arrival. A couple blokes turned up, went and checked my roof and agreed there wasn’t any major work needing to be done (very different to another company who took a 30 second glance up at my roof , didn’t even go up, and claimed £1700 worth of work needed to be done) . He even matched another quote I’d received. They agreed the original plan on flaunching the chimney should solve my minor leak . Cannot comment yet on whether leak is solved until we have another heavy downpour, but work was completed promptly, lads were lovely. Would definitely use again in future if I have issues and recommend to others as well. Thank you Steve and crew.

Chimney and Tile Roof Repair
Syb roofing services were brilliant, I would highly recommend to anyone Steve and his lads came out to me on a wet Sunday afternoon identified the problem with my chimney and did a lovely job putting the issue right, Steve kept in contact with me till the job was completed and the price he charged was fair will definitely be using again the future.
