Lay Paving Stones In Garden Area
Unfortunately, the finished patio was extremely disappointing. The slabs were laid with an inconsistent pattern, despite being supplied specifically for the intended layout. The jointing/grouting was also very poorly finished, with inconsistent joints and excess material left around the patio. There was also concrete/mortar left on the surrounding brickwork and the edges were poorly finished. I discovered that some of the slabs had actually been fitted upside down. Fortunately, they had not been properly cemented down and were able to be lifted and corrected more than a week later. If they had been properly secured, this could have resulted in an even bigger problem. The job was completed in around six hours and unfortunately appeared to have been rushed. A considerable amount of waste and mess was also left behind for me to deal with. I contacted him to explain that I was unhappy with the workmanship. He agreed to return and rectify the issues, but he then failed to turn up and ignored my calls. I have photographs documenting the condition of the patio and the issues with the workmanship. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the work and the lack of aftercare. I would not recommend this tradesperson based on my experience.
Remove Large Wooden Decking Area
Very professional and skilled.Took all of decking down and got rid of as well. Worked in all weathers heat and torrential rain .would highly recommend Rowlands and will be asking him to do some more work in the future 👍
