Horticulturalist with 10 years experience. Excellent plant knowledge and understanding of botanical nomenclature (names). Skills include weeding, pruning, border design, dividing existing herbaceous perennials, border renovation, mulching, putting the garden to bed for winter, bulb planting, low hedge cutting, digging over plots, planting shrubs and small trees. Great propagation skills (bringing plants on from cuttings/seed within customers greenhouses/ polytunnels). Previous nursery experience. Experienced with wild UK flowers helping to introduce certain, more desirable species within the garden encouraging wildlife etc/ pro nature.
Qualifications include: Level 2 and 3 RHS practical horticulture.
Level 3 BTEC certificate in Horticulture achieving a distinction.
Level 2 certificate in arboriculture.
Insurance includes liability insurance, advanced DBS check. I cover Frome area and surrounding villages.
