Gas Ovens, Hobs & Stoves
Had a bad experience with the engineer. He was the first guy called and offer £80 to replace a gas hob. Agreed without negotiation. He came in today and install. He want to charge £90 for the reason of buying a new pipe. I didn't agree as no message from him to pay any extra pipe also when he went out to buy the pipe, he didn't give me notice to pay. He insist staying in my home for the extra £10 with no respect. I didn't agree even its small cash. Eventually I called police to get him out. Very regret to get him to do the job as John Lewis/ Currys change around 85 to 90 but issue certificate. Very annoyed!

PlumbCare ScotlandThe reason for the extra £10 charge was due to extra materials being used to bring your pipe work upto regulation standards and replacement of passing gas tap. As usual people want everything done for nothing.
