Hi, my name is Pat Smith, and I have been in the building industry for many years, serving the local community in and around Bromley; but I also happily travel further afield.
Plastering is a skill that needs to be mastered and understood, and I have a real passion for it and can offer the customer money and time-saving alternatives with the special materials that I use, namely the fibreglass stop crack tape…
I have found over the recent years that a lot of my clients are also in need of a good, reliable, trustworthy builder, so I, therefore, offer a professional building service as well and can tap into a wealth of professional industry contacts.
This is a family business, and it would not be able to operate as smoothly and as efficiently as it does without the help of my fantastic wife, Sarah, running the back office.
We pride ourselves on honesty, reliability, quality, and value for money. We are aware of the customers’ needs and concerns and we are always on hand to offer advice and help. Especially when, unfortunately, a customer may have had a bad experience with a previous builder and have been left with an unfinished project, poor workmanship or high and unexplained costs. We are always here to offer help and reassurance.
It is important for us to reassure the customer and to make sure that the project goes smoothly and that everyone is happy and satisfied with the result – half of our business is from referrals!
I have given my time in the past to help a family in need through the BBC DIY SOS Big Build programme (see photograph above).
It was an amazing and humbling experience, and I loved every moment of it. Being able to help somebody less fortunate whilst having the experience of working alongside the BBC team was a real privilege.
