Firstly, I have a learning attitude and a will to make every new experience count and learn from those around me. In addition, I have great attention to detail when it comes to carrying out simple tasks such for example mopping the floor and ensuring every accept of it is clean and to a higher standard.
In my last role, I was responsible for maintaining a cleanliness and hygiene standards in various areas. In particular I was praised for my meticulous method of cleaning rooms when guests have left, and ensuring it is ready for the next in an optimal condition. In this role, I was also working as part of small team that was well knit, therefore I was always relied on for being on punctual in my time keeping and through in carrying out my duties as a housekeeper.
Therefore, it is important for me to emphasise that I am able to work in any team and get on with all team members from all walks of life. I also recognise that in the NHS it is important to work well with other staff members to provide a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. Therefore, as a key team player in my role, I believe that I will able to contribute greatly to your organisation.
In all my previous roles both work and education I was known for excellent communication skills and being able to listen, understand and undertake various tasks of varying level of complexity, therefore fitting in your team which I’m sure if made of people from all walks of life won’t be a big issue for me.
Additionally, being compassionate and a caring person is crucial to the any NHS employee as per the NHS constitution. As the NHS is all about providing excellent care, as a housekeeper, I’ll contribute to that by creating a clean and comfortable environment for patients.
Lastly, having a positive attitude and being adaptable is important. I can be fast-paced and ever-changing, so being able to handle challenges and adapt to new situations is essential.
