Shower Thermostat Repair or Replacement
Nova was very helpful, he gave a good price on the job, he was punctual and polite. I have some more tasks that I am going to ask Nova to complete. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars is that I wasn’t aware I would have to get rid of the old shower cartridge, not a massive problem but I just thought it would be taken at the end of the job.
Replace Stuck Bathroom Sink Plug
Turned out not to be as easy as I thought but he persisted and got the job done.
Fit Two Shower Wall Panels
Nova Neverson turned up two hours late and then parked outside the wrong house. The job was to put two shower wall panels in place. He didn’t seem to have the right tools for the job and cut the panels with a Hand saw leaving the edges ragged and creating a complete mess. He was allowed to work without disruption but despite being asked from time to time if all was ok he said it was and didn’t ask for any assistance. He worked solidly for over four hours and when he was leaving he didn’t ask us to inspect the job and as we were busy making dinner we expected it to be done to a certain standard so paid him and he left. We then inspected what he had done and were totally appalled. Neither of the panels were fitted properly - large gaps where they met the wall as well as top and bottom. The edges are not even and the whole thing will take an enormous amount of work to make it even sort of acceptable. Before beginning he took the chrome bar off the shower where it attached to the wall but because he didn’t have a proper screwdriver to loosen it off he yanked it out of the wall pulling out the Rawlplug and bending the screw. No attempt was made to put the bar back leaving the shower screen in a dangerous situation with nothing to secure it or to stop it falling and causing damage or injury. We will now have to find a reliable tradesperson to put this mess right. Following his departure it took us over an hour to clean up the mess he left. We are extremely upset about this situation and would ask you not to recommend him to any other customers. We can provide photos of how he left the job he was entrusted to do.
Reattach TV Wall Mount and Cabinet
Nice guy, but very inexperienced. He did not have the proper equipment and had to leave for 4–5 hours to find the necessary tools. He also did not know how to properly fix the wall cabinet and ended up installing it incorrectly. Within two days, the back panel of the cabinet broke because it was resting on the weak part of the back wall, causing it to fall to the ground and damage other parts as well.
Shower Leak and Toilet Seat Repair
Nova was quick to respond to the messages and was able to complete most of the work. He tried to fix the shower, but recommended that it would be more cost effective to buy a new one as the part would have been expensive.
Install Lights, Mount TV, Assemble Furniture
I don't think person knows the job at all , he has only done a partial job like fixing tv on wall & messed up with my floating TV unit . Came off the wall twice when he was fixing it .
