Inspect And Quote For Roof Leak
We agreed a fee of £1,950 for this company to fix my leaking roof after they had inspected the roof and told me what the issue was. They did turn up as agreed and carried out a days work fixing my roof and told me the leak was fixed. I therefore paid there invoice straight away. However it rained that night and we had extensive leaks worse that the original leak. I contact the company and the came back 2 days later I showed them the damage that had been caused as the leaking was worse than when they were suppose to have fixed the leak. they then spent that day working on my roof and was told I quote it would take a Tsunami before my roof leaked again. Unfortunately it rain again that night and my roof was still leaking badly I had water running down my wallpaper in my home office and in two halls. I again contact this company to complain that my roof was still leaking and the reply I got was totally unacceptable. They said that they could not come back and suggested that I get another company to come and fix my roof. I emailed them back and pointed out that yes they had spent 2 days working on my roof but the bottom line was my roof was leaking worse than when they started and they had been paid to fix my roof. I also asked if they would pay for another company to come and fix my roof. I got a reply stating please provide quotation so we can discuss and agree on the contribution. I had to contact my insurance company to get the emergency team to come and stop my roof leaking they found a tear in the rubber which they sealed as a temporary repair. The insurance company would not cover the fixing of my roof as this company has been working on my roof. I then had 3 companies come and look at my roof and all 3 were shocked at how this company had left the roof and their behaviour in dealing with my issue. I sent this company my quote for the for the decorating of the damage they had caused and at that point was willing to accept a return of half the fee they had charged me for their work. Despite several email to the company they are now ghosting me and not replying to my email. I employed one of the companies would came to inspect my roof the bottom line was I needed to get the whole roof valley rebuilt and new rubber laid as the wooden timbers were rotten and needed replaced. They did say that this company should have noticed the wood was rotten and needed replace. So the bottom line is this company charged me £1,950 to fix me leaking roof and did not fix the leak, the work they carried out was not a fix to the issue. Also Once the decorator inspected my office roof because was so badly damaged it needed repaired as well. So I am now out the £1,950 paid to them and a further £2,500 to fix the damage caused by them making the leaking worse. As this company is not replying to my email I am posting this review to see if I get a response from them. Despite all there promises from Bobby and Willie and the point above I would therefore not recommend the use of this company. I also think My Job Quote should review this company to see if they should remain on there site
