About
A skilled labourer with 8 years of experience in Construction in almost every type of build, from demolition through 1st fixes, 2nd fixes and snagging, houses, flats, schools and commercial. Great with prep work for variety of trades, including screeders, floor layers, especially after plastering and tape & jointing.
During my labouring days I have worked alongside other handymen and carpenters, now with my own tools and confidence I'm here to put my skills into practice.
With almost 5 years of experience as a drylining labourer and 2.5 years as a gangerman for a drylining firm during 1st & 2nd fixes, I understand the building code and fireproofing methods and can research the fixing details necessary for the correct drywall installation. For this I have tools for light demolition, setting up and installing the wall partition, insulation, adding noggins, fixing plasterboard, boxing, and for tape and jointing, sanding, priming and painting. I'm also great with logistics, moving goods in and storing of materials; many lorry drivers in the area know me well.
I have Asbestos Awareness certificate and for the past two years I worked primarily during the early phases of the commercial conversions, that involved stripping and readjustment of the foundations, as well as during setting up sites after demolition phase, but also during finishing and de-snagging. I'm an exceptional labourer and am great with cleaning and prepping, but now it's time to get on the tools by myself.
