Mick was fantastic from the start! We had asked friends for roofer recommendations after we noticed a leak. Unfortunately they only had recommendations of who not to hire. We looked on various websites and got quotes from a few roofers with positive reviews, although felt cautious about hiring someone who hadn't been personally referred. Mick stood out as being honest, explaining what was wrong and how it needed to be fixed before offering a couple of fairly priced quotes (for just essential work and for ideal extras). Unlike other tradesmen we got quotes from, Mick didn't try to upsell or encourage us to get unnecessary work. He gave us facts and allowed us to choose depending on budget. He worked around our availability and turned up promptly on the agreed day. Mick worked solidly until the job was finished. When I took water out for him as requested for the mortar, he happily explained what had been done so far and what he was doing next and why. The job has been completed to a brilliant standard and it is clear that no cost-saving corners were cut (Mick used a higher grade lead than previously used on the property and used multiple layers of it to get the most weatherproof finish). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend M Harrison Property Repairs to anyone needing building work, and will be sure to keep Micks details for any future work that we may need doing ourselves. Thanks Mick!
