Labworth Painting & Decorating
About
Labworth Painting & Decorating is based on Canvey Island and covers SS8 and the surrounding south Essex towns — Benfleet, Hadleigh, Thundersley, Leigh-on-Sea, Rayleigh, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea and Wickford.
We take on interior and exterior painting, wallpapering and paper stripping, hand-painted kitchens and cabinet respraying, Artex removal and ceiling smoothing, and end-of-tenancy decorating for landlords and letting agents.
Exterior work on the island has its own demands. Salt air off the estuary is hard on paintwork, so rendered and pebbledashed frontages get thorough preparation and coatings suited to coastal exposure rather than whatever is cheapest.
Most of any job is what happens before the first coat. We fill, sand, caulk and mask properly, sheet up furniture and floors, and clear away at the end of each day rather than leaving customers living around the work.
Fully insured, free written quotes with no obligation, and honest timescales given up front.
