Professional Bio – Carpenter/Joiner
I am a skilled Carpenter and Joiner with over 12 years of experience in both domestic and commercial construction, holding an NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery. I cover a wide range of first and second fix work, from structural carpentry to detailed interior finishing.
My experience includes erecting stud walls, installing noggings and pattressing, plasterboarding, and insulating. I regularly fit architraves, skirting boards, laminate flooring, kitchens, and boxing-ins, as well as construct media walls, false ceilings, and lighting features.
I have practical experience fitting fire door sets in line with BM TRADA standards and fire safety regulations, including the installation of Firefly fire curtains and fire lining. While not BM TRADA certified, I am confident working to their requirements and specifications.
Additional skills include PVC cladding, fascias, soffits, guttering, PVC window and door installation, and Pendock boxing systems. Structurally, I have worked on traditional and truss roofing, dormer and log extensions, joisting and fitting caber deck flooring, installing cavity closers, concrete slabs, steel fixing, and concrete panel and post fencing.
I also have experience with decking (including composite), fencing, bulkheads, aluminium stud partitioning, and various bespoke joinery tasks.
