Full Kitchen & Bathroom Refurbishment
I went into a contract with Jon, he quoted £6000 to complete a job which I'd provide his quote. He didn't go 20% into the job and spent all time he said he'd use to complete the job. Came back with an additional quote which he was very unsure of and kept calling different figures £7000, £9000, £13000, this made me loose confidence in him and the honesty of what he can offer. He fixed carpet for me with no underlays after I clearly said I will need underlays, with rough edges and unprofessional cut. Fixed a shower head which has been leaking water. The one job he did was painting of two rooms and fixing the shower screen of a bathroom. Meanwhile I have paid him £3,800 and he hasn't given a good account of the expenses. I have picture evidence of his quote, payments I have made and our communications. He has refused to come back and fix the snags of the poor job already done. I can't recommend Jon

Install New Radiator With Pipework
John was quick to reply. Offered a competitive quote. Kept me informed and arranged a time and date to fit a new radiator that suited me. He and his team were courteous and respectful and left no mess whatsoever. I know exactly where to go for my future jobs.
Replace Shower Cubicle
The work carried out was a mixed experience. While the plastering was generally satisfactory in most rooms, there were some issues with bubbling on the walls. Wallpaper had been left on and plastered over.The contractor was frequently absent from the job, often giving unconvincing excuses, which caused delays and frustration. Cleanliness was also a concern, as plaster was left splashed across floors and the workspace was left very messy. The decorating was completed to a reasonable standard; however, the caulking was poorly done and did not meet expectations. A shower cubicle was installed that was unsuitable for the available space and ultimately had to be replaced, creating additional inconvenience and cost. A marble fireplace was also left unattached to the wall, which posed a serious safety hazard. Throughout the project, there were repeated requests for payment despite the work being incomplete. Communication was excessive at times, with multiple phone calls, and there was also an incident where paint was spilled on the driveway. Overall, the project ran significantly over the agreed timescale, adding to the dissatisfaction and cost. The radiators all leaked and I needed to employ an emergency plumber at a considerable cost .

Jon came priced up the job and completed. He was polite and helpful throughout. He communicated throughout letting us now when we were having the new bath delivered and he came bang on time. John completed the job in good time and did a clean and tidy job. Would reccomend 👍
