Trees need to be cut back for a variety of reasons. In urban environments, they need to be kept clear of power lines and buildings and prevented from intruding on roadways. Homeowners often want trees pruned for aesthetic purposes or to keep branches from overhanging their home.
Tree removal - Like all living things trees eventually reach the end of the line and need to be safely removed by the Tree Surgeon. When you consider that there are some 3 billion trees in the UK you can see there will be no shortage of work if you choose this career.
Stump removal - Stumps are often left in place after a tree is felled. But at some point, most will need to be removed. This is not an easy task by any measure and requires the expertise of the Tree Surgeon to be done safely and correctly.
Root pruning - Tree roots pose an unseen but very real threat to foundations, drains, sewer lines and septic tanks. In some cases, it is necessary for the Tree Surgeon to bring in the heavy equipment, dig down to the roots and cut back root systems.
