Hi my name is Jason, I’m a fully qualified carpenter with 20 years experience. I started my career as an apprentice for a timber frame building company and attending Bcot technical college in Basingstoke where I excelled and completed the course a year early and winning the regions apprentice of the year. Following this I went self employed and moved to London working on high end property in and around Surrey on prestigious estates in Esher, Cobham and Oxshott. I have acquired a number of skills over the years and have a general passion for carpentry from start to finish and all things in between. Specialist skills include: Pitched cut roofing Flat roofing Loft conversions 1st fix joist work Fascia/ soffit/ guttering Flooring Outbuildings Stair cases Partition walls Plaster-boarding PIR insulation Window and external door installation All aspects of 2nd fix carpentry including: Door hanging - new and existing frames Door ironmongery Skirting Architrave Panelling Feature walls Bath panels and niche walls Wood flooring including glued solid flooring and floating laminate.
