About
Throughout that work, I developed an engineering-led approach to construction — one that prioritises early technical clarity, disciplined risk management and calm, decisive delivery. I have most often been brought into projects that were considered difficult or failing, where complexity, regulation or misalignment threatened outcomes. The consistent lesson has been that good buildings are the result of good thinking early on.
Having now settled in Itchenor, my focus is deliberately local. Itchenor Construction Company exists to bring the same level of rigour, professionalism and care to residential construction in West Sussex that I have applied on major programmes around the world. Scale is not the objective; quality, durability and technical excellence are.
We work closely with clients, architects and consultants to ensure that projects are well resolved before work begins on site, and that they are delivered with clarity, control and respect for their setting. Our ambition is simple: to build world-class homes and projects in the communities we are part of, and to leave behind work that stands up technically, commercially and over time.
