Shed Flat Roof Leak Repair Needed
The first thing that we asked them to do was to fix our shed roof as it was leaking. We had a flat roof and so they replaced it with a polycarbonate sheet. They quoted £1100 (which we fully paid for)for only the labour charge. They are the ones who selected and ordered all of the materials which we paid for. Less than a week later, it started raining and then the new shed roof leaked. We asked them to repair it and then he came with a glue to glue it and said it won't leak anymore. The next time it rained, it leaked again. After that, he came with a polycarbonate glue and that has still not fixed the issue and still to this day, it is still leaking. Unfortunately, when he started the work, we were looking for a tradesman to do our front garden. Harvey told us he can do the job with 4 person within 1 and a half weeks (it took him and his team over 3 weeks and the job is still incomplete) as he quoted "boom boom" He quoted £7700 including the materials. We told them to place new bricks at the front of our front garden and they instead used some of our old bricks which I assume is because they want to save material cost. The work equipment that they used was not even theirs as they used our equipment and they didn't even leave our garden clean as they left it a complete mess and now we have to clean it up. Then, he placed the slabs unevenly and instead of completing the slabs fully, they placed gravel to fill the gap instead of simply cutting the tiles to then fit in that gap (we have photos and videos). Harvey told us to give last £3000 after completion of work. There is also a massive hole in the side of our staircase where the slop was going to be built and instead of filling the hole with concrete, they instead poured gravel to attempt to hide the hole, which I find incredibly lazy of them. However, because he hasn't completed all of the work, we have paid £7200 out of the £7700 because he hasn't completed all of the work. It has been over a month since he has completed the work and we have got into contact with him many times to complete this work as it has been poorly done and the first thing he asks for is the money.
HPD ServicesThe flat roof had Asbostos which we pointed out clearly this not safe to be lying around, which they refuse to listen. Then brick wall was loose the had wanted me to do it free to make sure it was safe done it to help Them. Completed the roof not knowing there was a leak, she offered other work because a lot work she was adding in for free.A lot neighbour was amazed we work good Friday and Saturday trying finishing the job as there in India plus material are delayed. Took 30 bags of rubble away for free Offered to come back to shed lady bloke are joke
