Hello, I'm Matt Reeves, founder of Harwell Kitchen Co — bringing high-quality kitchen fitting, carpentry, and tiling to homeowners across Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Harwell, and the surrounding Oxfordshire area.
My Story & Experience
Harwell Kitchen Co is a newly established business, but it's built on ten years of experience as an Army carpenter, having served in the Royal Engineers. That background instilled precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to finishing every job to the highest standard — skills I'm now bringing directly into your home.
Qualifications
Level 2 in Site Carpentry
CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Carpentry and Joinery, Assessed Route)
Level 3 Certificate in Building Installation and Property Maintenance Skills (tiling, plastering, plumbing) — in progress, 2026
Plumbing course, Abingdon and Witney College — Thursday evenings, Oct–Nov 2026
Dedicated Kitchen Fitting training — completing 2026
Core Skills
Kitchen installation — unit fitting, worktop fitting, integrated appliance housing, worktops.
Tiling — wall and floor
Fitted furniture and bespoke storage
Bespoke freestanding furniture
Internal door fitting (including fire doors, sliding doors, bi-folds)
Skirting boards and architrave
General household carpentry repairs
