About
I am a bricklayer of 41 years experience. I started at 16 years old and had a traditional apprenticeship under my dad. After 6 years, I went on my own, and was a main contractor for many years. I have carried out all aspects of my trade through the years, including restoration work and crack stitching. I have built all types of structures, extentions, houses, offices and warehouses. I have carried out intricate decorative work as well as garden walls. I am still passionate about bricklaying and now look to carry out small works, where I can maintain a high standard of workmanship, but without the huge pressures of contracting to large companies. Through my career, I have learnt to carry out other skills such as elements of carpentry, groundworks and other trades. I am polite and amiable and always leave wherever I work clean and tidy.
