I am a very well-rounded student who shows good communication skills. I am seeking to find an appropriate part time job or apprenticeship for my liking. I have strong teamwork and good relationship building skills, which I got from following Oldham Athletic football club every weekend making new friends. I go to every Oldham Athletic football club home and away game, and I make it on time which shows my punctuality and travelling skills. I am also capable of working on my own and using my initiative to manage my workload. I am passionate about working. While studying at school I was chosen from my year group by the Manchester United foundation, as a year group leader, and visited a local primary school to deliver a PE lesson, to help young children improve on their football skills and to help learn the basics. As part of this initiative and a reward for doing an excellent job as a team leader I got invited to attend a Champions League game at Old Trafford. Experience I have spent time at my dad’s place of work and helped him clean cars, clean his office and keep the workshop tidy. I have also observed him working on cars and bikes.

I recently had the opportunity of 2 weeks work experience through Wilmott Dixon/Dalkia working on the construction site at Spindles shopping centre, Oldham as a general Labourer. After the 2 weeks the site manager said I did such a good job they offered to extend it for the full 6 weeks holiday which I did voluntary, total of 7 weeks.

I have also had experience with ECO Build doing joinery and labouring for 5 weeks.

Also done mutil-skills for Sunshine Windows for 3 weeks

As a finishing comment from myself I was at first apprehensive about having students onsite without any prior experience, but I was quick to eat my words. It’s a breath of fresh air to come across a young person with a very positive attitude and a willingness to work without pay just to gain site experience.
