Given me 20 year guarantee on garage roof which started leaking after 2 months and Thomas Harber is not responding to phone calls and reads whatsapps message but doesn't respond. Taken £3900 for a garage roof and on myjobquote complain I am still waiting on getting replies after given all the proof requested. Is there anything possible to get the money back or get the issue resolved. I am sure there are enough websites for Thomas Harber/A1 roofing and Guttering to move to get new jobs and people falling for his lack of workman ship, poor job execution and cheating people after charging so much money with poor quality material. I gave money for material as well. In fact he told main house roof some issue and charged money for fixing and only god can punish him if god truely exists. Seems nothing can be done to this guy and will continue his work.

The works was completed and a new gutter was installed on my roof. However, as soon as it started raining the same leaks were appearing from the spots were it was leaking before on the old guttering....I contacted Thomas and he said he would be out to look at it this was 2 weeks ago and he has now blocked my number. I am livid to be honest, I thought I could trust him but clearly not and will be more careful in the future! they added an extra £180 as apparently two roof tiles were missing from the roof which I highly doubt to be true now....avoid at all costs I will be contacting Myjobquote to seek compensation as this is unacceptable.

It was going well and we were very pleased, until the final day. Thomas decided to hurriedly install our new back gate but it did not fit. Instead of taking the time to consult me or think of a solution, he used a chainsaw to hack a wonky line down the middle. This left a huge gap. So he then broke a plank of mouldy wood off my old gate and nailed it to my new one. This left 2 inches of exposed screws pointing into my garden, on 3 screws. Over the course of 10 days, Thomas promised he would return to rectify what he had done. I waited in every day he said he was coming, missing 2 family events because I was desperate to have the gate safe for my two young children. Thomas did not come back and stopped replying to messages over 3 weeks ago. Very disappointed.

It was the best grand I've ever spent. Thomas and his crew did everything I wanted done and to a very high quality. I had a mini forest and they worked miracles. I've saved his number and will be recommending him to everyone. Thank you Thomas and crew...I have a garden now!

Thomas & his younger brother worked well as a team & quickly to get the job done. They were pleasant & polite, keen to do what I wanted. A few more minutes clearing up the leaves which they blew into corners & behind plants would have been much appreciated.
