Install Easy Maintenance Driveway
Originally in October the driveway work seemed okay although the drainage was rather bodged. (My son later sorted that.) Andy and his guys were friendly and hardworking but very casual. Within a month, 3 main concerns were evident. •Black ending finish was flaking off (particularly frustrating since Andy had persuaded me against my preference to have black edging to main redish finish). •Dull grey patches appeared in many areas spoiling the red finish. •Patches of different shades. Area of second concrete delivery was much lighter in colour than the first due presumably to less dye being used. (Andy had underestimated the volume required despite originally over measuring the area and hence over charging for job) I included photos to illustrate the problems. Andy agreed to sort it out the next week. He didn’t. I contacted again in December and he said he’d forgotten but would be back to sort it out. He didn’t return. Recently at the beginning of March, I asked again. This time no response. Decorative driveways has a great and seemingly reassuring website; promising to return if necessary to ensure that customers are completely satisfied. This is NOT the case! Don’t believe it! Very disappointing.

Concrete Base Installation 5x8m
Requested concrete base to be completed, Andy and the lads were great, slightly out of level and concrete cracking all over due to no pocket getting used to release all the air bubbles to stop it crack and give the concrete base good strength, I’m ok with it as I have used concrete primer and external leveling compound for sealing/ filling the cracks, although really good polite lads
