Replace Kitchen Sink and Taps
I was having this new cabinet and sink unit installed in my OAP aunty's home . We agreed a price of £400 to £450 maximum. The unit he bought was from Tesco sink cabinet tap etc for £198 . He arrived arrived on time 8am and removed the old sink , when he opened the flat pack to build the cabinet apparently their was parts missing so he could not do it . I spoke to him on the telephone and he agreed to speak to Tesco and sort it out and we arranged for him to come the following Sunday . In the meantime time I gave my aunty £450 cash to give him as I was going away when he had finished installing it . I telephoned my aunty to see if was installed all ok she was pleased with the job . She then informed me that he wanted another £50 on top so she paid him. I texted him to ask what the other £50 for and he said because he had to come back to complete the job . I said it wasn't my aunt's fault that the unit he bought from Tesco had missing parts he was not having none of it saying it was his time and petrol etc I told him he should be charging Tesco not my elderly aunt he should have checked the package to make sure everything was correct . It's only £50 but he should not have asked my elderly vulnerable aunty for more money .. He should have spoken to me . He did not agree with me when I texted him then told me to never contact him again as if I would .
