I am a Gardener/Landscaper that moved to Caterham about four years ago. I used to work with a firm for over 9 years sub contracting , up until I made the move to start my own business at the end of 2021. Being at the firm allowed me plan my own day, purchase materials, workout how much material was needed for the job and simply just let my green imagination run wild based on what the clients wanted. I made that decision as I felt as though I had no other progression within that firm and wanted to use the skills acquired from the trade to boost my own income and become my own manager. Since then, I’ve managed to build my clientele to a healthy capacity and strive to undertake more. I take care of a range of sites from private houses to over ten communal areas that are of a similar nature, if not larger than Tupwood. My expertise is garden maintenance, but over the years I’ve broadened my skill set and now install fences, build log cabins, sheds, green houses, decking, hedge cutting and more. However, I have to admit, my love for garden maintence is a lot stronger than the skills listed above. Being in this trade makes me feel as if I have got job satisfaction, I'm very particular about the gardens I look after and I always treat a garden as if it were my own. I make sure I do a perfect job to meet my clients needs and more importantly what my clients expect of me. I am currently fully insured to the value of two million to undergo garden maintenance and landscaping throughout properties. All my tools and equipment I use are all commercial grade and are all serviced yearly so I'm never without them.
