Repair Kitchen Skylight Leak
It's hard to provide a fair review of my experience dealing with the company as a customer. The workers turned up on time and seemed to be knowledgable. They worked hard and appear to me to have done a good job. The problems occurred when it came to payment. Santander refused to transfer the money and my account was frozen, as the bank's anti-fraud team did not like the fact the sum was being transferred to a private account, rather than to a business account. When the anti-fraud team asked me further questions, the investigator also did not like the fact the company had advertised itself on the website as Wells & Sons Landscaping, but was really called CPS Roofing. I explained all this to the roofers, but rather than wait till we had investigated the company properly, they immediately started making aggressive phone calls claiming I was 'trying to pull a fast one'. I was really upset by this, as the roofers did the work for me on the Friday and started calling me and pestering me for payment on the Saturday. They would not even wait patiently for a single business day! So, I have no reason to question the honesty or the skill of the roofers, but I found their reluctance to wait for a proper investigation stressful and completely unnecessary. It is up to you whether you choose to publish this review, or not-- as I do not want to antagonise them, as they have provided a very fair and comprehensive guarantee for the work they did at my house. Apologies for the delay in replying to all your prompts for a review!

Replace Wooden Fence Panels and Posts
Responded quickly with visit and quote for the fencing job. Work completed thoroughly and efficiently with care being taken over existing garden and plants. Very reasonable price too.

Fix Roof Leak and Repaint Ceiling
The most impressive aspect was the speed of the service. Quote in the morning and work completed in the afternoon. The cost was very fair, by today's standards, and the only reason I was not able to award a 5/5 rating, was the fact that I was unable to see the repair after completion, and it's now hidden by tiles. However, there was a serious problem which will show itself very quickly, if not adressed fully, and there is always the 10 year guarantee to fall back on Everything else was excellent.
