I trained as a carpenter with advance craft qualifications attained and institute of carpenters in 1991. My company I have on the file is a company I started up last year for another business, however this is the only business I have and have put this in to enable clients to verify me. This was incorporated in 2025, September, confirmation statement and accounts up-to date.
To clarify my expertise, I would upload my Carpentry CV, however there doesn't seem to be an area to do this. I have been involved in carpentry and joinery and building since 1986. I have worked on small builds, large builds and commercial developments. My main area of expertise is Carpentry and Joinery and I work methodically to make sure the job is done correctly. I am BM TRADA certified, Hot works certified and SHE certified. I also have up-to date Asbestos training. This means I have a certain criteria that will be met when undertaking work within your home, safety, compliance and knowledge.
I have built staircases, moved staircases to fit in a difficult space. New builds, 2nd and 1st fix. I have designed and fitted kitchens. I have designed, built and fitted wardrobes, replaced ceilings, fitted drop down ceilings. Fitted Engineering flooring and laminate flooring. Firedoors, front doors, frames external and internal. Rebuilt walls, dry lining, painting and tiling. I have also have experience in plumbing and brickwork, where basic electrical work is concerned, can be done. However, if more in-depth, I will call on one of my trusted certified electricians. For boiler related issues, I have a Gas Safe Registered engineer I will appoint. Everything will be covered and certified professionally.
