Formed in 2022, Cavehill based company Carlen construction was setup by husband and wife team John & Sinead Cullen.
With over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, and a combined 35 years’ experience in customer service, the family spotted that there was a gap in the market for a company that could provide construction services, only this time – with customer service.
Put simply – we believe that doing what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do it is fundamental, and currently missing in the industry.
Our owner John studied Construction Engineering and Management at the University of Ulster - obtaining the highest grade attainable - a first class honours degree. John then progressed through his career from site engineer through to project manager working on multi million pound developments in the leisure, education, hospitality, retail and residential sectors across the UK and Ireland.
Co – Owner Sinead worked in retail management for 20 years, progressing from sales assistant to regional manager for Northern Ireland & Scotland with one of the biggest retailers in the UK. Sinead later went back to study Interior Design and pursue her passion in construction and design.
Carlen offer a wide range of professional and quality assured building services for the residential, commercial and public sectors throughout Northern Ireland.
With vast experience delivering high quality building solutions for our clients, the sheer breadth and depth of construction knowledge we bring to our projects enables us to consistently deliver high standards of construction with exceptional value.
