Unfortunately this probably won’t help anyone as he is no longer a member on here but we have had to take Chris to small claims court and we are 10months since we first agreed for Chris to do the job. Months of incredibly elaborate excuses (apparently he now has 9 fingers) which actually now we guess were just ways to keep us from going to small claims. We are still waiting.

I only post this review in the hope others do not loose money to this individual. Chris was very professional to begin with.. he attended to quote for the job then gave us a few options to think about. This was back in April. Chris kept in contact every couple of days to see if we wanted to use him and confirm any decisions we had come to. We eventually decided to go with Chris who then asked for a deposit up front for materials. Unfortunately this is the point where things went downhill. After paying the deposit and agreeing a start date Chris promised to send a receipt and order conformation straight away. One week passed with no contact from Chris and the receipt and order confirmation were not sent. A few days after this the excuses started with Chris giving various reasons why he had failed to keep in contact or send the requested documents etc. By the time the start date arrived (several weeks later) I had still not received confirmation of the materials ordered and the morning came and went with no sign of Chris and no contact from him. I called numerous times to find out what was going on and sent messages in an attempt to contact Chris. All were ignored. Eventually in late afternoon after using a friends mobile I managed to get hold of Chris who came up with various reasons for failing to appear and for not contacting. After Chris made various reassurances a second start date was then agreed on the condition that Chris sent the previously requested documents. Once again Chris failed to send over the documents and on the morning of the second start date he messaged to say he would be delayed. After challenging Chris on why the docs had not been sent I managed to confirm the company he claimed to have ordered the goods from and that they were due to be delivered to my home address the following day. After speaking with Chris i contacted the company he claimed to have ordered the goods with only for them to confirm they had no order for delivery to my address and no order even closely resembling the materials needed for my job had been placed with them in the last few weeks. I again attempted to contact Chris as by now we were into mid may. He did not respond to my calls or messages. After getting some advice from the CAB I eventually got hold of Chris and advised him that I did not want him to do the job any longer and gave my reasoning following the advice from CAB. I asked for refund of deposit and Chris promised this would happen ASAP. To date as I write this (19/7/19) I have not received my deposit back and have had to take Chris to the small claims court. After much chasing the result being that today I was awarded the claim in my favour and a CCJ against this trader. Next step will be the bailiffs. For those reading this review, please don't just take my word for how this man operates. If you visit mybuilder.com you will find that Chris has done this to another poor individual for substantially more deposit and he is also having to chase Chris through the courts. I have also contacted trading standards about this trader. It would have been far easier to just forget this individual but I would not want this to happen to any one else.

Chris telephoned in response to my quote request and completed the job the following morning. Quick, efficient, informative and a good price. Shall definitely use his company again.

Chris turned up to quote and was very professional. Explained what we needed to do to stop shed from leaking and quoted accordingly. Chris then went to get the materials needed and fitted the same day. Would highly recommend this trader for any work and will be using again.

Very impressed with C e b aquatics, Chris arrived when he said he would. He was able to do the job the next day, again arrived on time, also he very kindly took the old panals away, plus other bits and bobs. Will be happy to use this firm again.

Came to the property on time and the quote was reasonable. Completed the job on time and cleared the rubbish as promised.... good job... keep up the good work Chris..!!????????????
