    Internal Painting

Rushed bad workmanship and continued failed appointments without notice Bruce was requested to redecorate a bathroom ceiling which had cracks in the plaster and flaking paint. He was provided the materials he requested i.e paint. Unfortunately he left several areas including those most important under the shower unpainted, this was easy to see once dried as the new paint was soft-sheen where as the previous was matt. This has meant fundamentally the ceiling isn't sealed correctly and the paint is beginning to bubble under the shower area which was not removed prior to fresh paint. He was paid his £180 fee it appeared that the ceiling had been covered correctly when I looked, only later to realise large areas had been missed once the paint had dried. I have contacted him several times in an attempt to get him to fix the poor workmanship and he has failed to attend appointments without notifying me. On the one time he did arrive he put a card through the door but did not attempt to call me prior to leaving, after which I arrived 10 minutes later. We again attempted another appointment, which when I called him he told me his was not coming and was currently in Southampton. I have asked for a partial refund of £80 as some work was performed and am currently waiting for a response.
