I am currently a self employed plumber/pipefitter with all required power and hand tools and my own transport. I have worked in the industry since the age of 16. I have worked with a number of differed materials including screwed, soldered and brazed copper, solvent weld, push fit, compression, fusion weld and many more. Since I have started work I have worked in a number of different environments such as installing new heating mains on an army barracks, new build flats where I have installed everything from new cold water mains to heating systems and waste rain water pipes. I have also worked on refurbs. I have also worked in factory’s doing pre fab work for risers going to prisons and also worked in factory’s installing new pipe work feeding a number of different machines. I have my own tools and I believe I have a good understanding of how things work and how to run pipe work in a number of different way, especially for someone whose my age. I am also always looking to improve and am a keen learner. I have just completed citb training and am waiting for my card to arrive in the mean time I have the paper work to confirm this. I am also iPaf train and have the card to confirm.
