Wallpapering & Painting 5-6 Rooms
Andy was employed by myself to decorate a bungalow throughout. Timescales were tight but he assured us it would be done in time. He was supposed to start on thursday 26th february but didnt turn up until friday and informed us he was with us until the job was completed but he kept giving us excuses and did not finish until 12th march when we were moving in. This caused problems with my flooring and blind fitting. He also asked for the money upfront which was just under £2k. We felt bad but we had only just met him and it was too much money to risk. He then came back with another offer of discount and we reluctantly agreed to pay the full balance. From this point he gave us less and less of his time and it was obvious that he had taken on too manu jobs and could not meet his commitments. My brother id having to finish the work and put right his shoddy workmanship. Having used your site to obtain a decorator we have been left very disappointed and would never recommend this man to anyone. Regards Yvonne Robso.
Andrew Jon DixonI quoted to wallpaper the full bungalow (27 rolls), this was accepted and at the time I was assured that the paper would be paterned paste the wall. Yvonne advised me that she had decided to hang basic lining later with a view to paint over it after she had moved in. I told her I’d help her out and spray paint the lining paper before she moved in, which woukd save her (her brother) a huge job at a later date. I did this for just the price of the paint. I also decorated the bathroom free of charge. All of this was beyond the scope of works originally agreed, I did this to help her out. All was completed before flooring was installed so I’m very suprised to receive a review like this…. But then again maybe I shouldn’t be suprised……

Turned up on time and did an excellent job of painting my kitchen cupboards. Looks like a brand new kitchen. Was left clean and tidy. I am very happy.

Andy was great from start to finish from quoting for the work through to completion and offered a lot of advice and expertise in getting the job done to a good standard. The work was completed quickly and I am really pleased with the results. Andy came back and did some extra bits too for little cost which was very much appreciated. I would have no issues in recommending Andy and will be in touch in the future if I have more work that needs doing!
