About
Founded in 2005 by John Kirby, Allaspex was built upon a deep knowledge of the industry, drawing from John’s career as a project manager, undertaking some of the largest and most high-profile office fitouts in Central London in the early naughties for clients such as Sony, Freemantle Media and iCrossing. Fed up with the city commute and large building sites, John decided to redirect his efforts and began undertaking building work on a more personal level local to his home in Brighton.
Fast-forward 20 years, John undertakes the same work with his son, Harry. Together, they fulfil a wide range of building works for a diverse clientele, from extensions and renovations, to minor building repairs and maintenance, whether that’s for an individual or an organisation, covering all trades in-house with a small but reliable community of specialists to call upon where needed. Allaspex has a proud history working for the NHS, providing renovation services for both clinical and office spaces, predominantly covering Sussex and Greater London.
