About
am writing to express my interest in a Painting and Decorating position within your company. I am eager to begin a career in this field and believe that my hands-on experience and strong work ethic make me a suitable candidate.
Over the past year and a half, I have volunteered with a local painting and decorating business, where I gained practical experience working on a variety of projects. During this time, I assisted with surface preparation, painting walls and ceilings, and ensuring a clean and professional finish. I also supported general tasks on-site, learning the importance of attention to detail, time management, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Through this experience, I have developed a solid understanding of the basics of painting and decorating, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. I take pride in my work, am reliable, and always willing to learn new skills to improve my performance.
I am particularly interested in this opportunity because I am keen to build on my existing experience and develop a long-term career in the trade. I am confident that my motivation, practical experience, and positive attitude would allow me to contribute to your team.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my suitability further
