Harry came to my flat on Sat 16th Dec. He was clearly experienced with hot water cylinder and related problems. He quoted me £250 to solve the problem (a valve that wasnt properly working due to temperature tongs being too short, and faulty immersion heater). He did the job quickly within and hour and all seems to be working. He promised to send me an invoice of £250 and description of the job done and said his work is guaranteed for 12 months. Less than 1 month later, the problem repeated with my hot water cylinder. The valve wasnt opening properly when switched on and immersion heater wasnt working at all. I texted/called Harry. He said the earliest visit he could make was about 7 days later, then said he could make it 4 days later on a Tue. I repeated texted him on Tue, only to find out he couldnt make it at 8pm or so. At which point, I still havent received his original invoice. He apologised and promised to get back to me shortly with a firm date/time he can come back to re-fix the problem, and said he will send the invoice immediately. Of course he never came back. I had to hire someone else to sort out the problem as not having hot water in the middle of winter is not definitely not fun. I have never left bad reviews previously to a tradesman however this time I felt so strongly that I had to act. The problem with one-off plumbers is always the service after they received the monies. Once they receive the money, they immediately move on to another job without feeling responsible that they charged you £250 for an hours job and they made a promise to revisit if the problem recurs. I am sorely disappointed by this experience. I would not recommend Harry to anyone. Should the website need to verify my story, I kept all text message history for verification.

A K plumbingin response to your unjustifed comments its was more than a month before your water stopped working and we was more than happy to revisit under gaurantee the breakdown in communication was due to days and timing as we were working out of london and the day we did arrange was for a specific time which you changed and i told you i was not able to come at that time and we both agreed i would call you within a few days with a new time and date i also have text message proof that i did text you twice and try calling you twice the messages came back undelivered and the calls went to a message saying number unavalible so i did not try again as for the money charged you are fully aware the parts used cost £181 leaving around £60.00 labour i also have the invoices for parts which im happy to publish so as this is the only way to contact you i can only apologise for the situation which was due to miscommunication and certainly not what you have implied

Harry was very professional. He carried out the work on a Sunday, provided me with pictures of the work as I wasn't able to be at the property and rang me regularly with updates.
