  • Why do I need to verify my account?

    We pride ourselves on having only the best tradesmen to offer to our customers. We have a commitment to our users to gather a certain amount of information about our trades. For this reason, we need all our trades to be verified so that we can ensure you are exactly who you say you are and what you can offer our customers.

    What do I need to verify?

    As a tradesmen we are going to need you to verify a few things for us, including :-

    Email address

    This is so we can contact you and inform the customer about who will be contacting them. This reduces communication errors and loss of emails.

    Phone number

    This is also so we can contact you and inform the customer about who will be contacting them. This reduces communication errors and makes sure we only SMS trades who have opted in to receive them.

    Add a payment card

    Don’t worry you won’t be receiving any unexpected charges and you can learn about all our fees here. We do not charge monthly fees, you only pay for leads you choose to accept. Your card will only be charged once you have chosen to purchase a lead.

    Proof of address

    To fully verify your account, we require an upload of your proof of address. This can be a utility bill, bank statement or driving licence that matches the address that you have stated your business to be operating from.

    If your card is registered to the same address you have signed up with, adding a card to your profile will automatically verify your address. This means you won’t have to upload anything else to prove your address.

    Public liability insurance

    We advise that our trades upload a public liability insurance certificate with the expiry date shown to cover themselves and their customers, and we will inform the customers if we have not verified your insurance which is likely to reduce the amount of jobs you receive.

    Alternatively, you can send an image, document or screen shot of these documents to us in an email and we can upload and verify them on your profile for you.
