He quoted me Nearly £250 plus. I did not think it would be that much so declined. He then said he would ring his supplier in Nuneaton for a quote on the price of the broken part, it did not sound to me that either of them knew what was wanted. I then told him where I had locally purchased the whole bathroom suite from and he did ring them. They knew exactly what was wanted and he drove there - a whole 3 minutes - to pick said part up. He returned and told me the part was just short of £40. I was delighted he could now do the job but after listening to him from coming in to quote and finishing the job about how hard his life has and was and another business he was going into [hot tubs and NO I did not want one] his labour fee had gone up. When I reminded him that he had quoted me £120. labour plus parts he responded with "oh did I". I paid him £170 in the end , I really felt sorry or him having to tell his whole life story to me !!!. But after all that not knowing how much he charges for his labour he did a job to satisfaction and I really do hope his Hot Tub franchise works out for him.

Got charged £400 to have a toilet replaced because the plumber said the pipe needed to be grinded which he never did and then left me with an disconnected sink which caused me an inconvenience and dumped the old toilet outside front of the house instead of taking it despite charging me £400! Lesson learnt. Won’t be repeating that again.

Work completed to a satisfactory standard but Marcus failed to turn up as promised twice (first time because he said he could earn more money from another job). Not punctual. Quick to demand payment. We paid on time and in full.
