House Rewire
So frustrating. We hired James to carry out rewiring work for us over the summer while we were away for a month. Despite being given an initial estimate of two weeks, the work was still unfinished when we came back. Eventually the work was done, but in the process, our heating stopped working. After weeks of trying to get in touch, we finally got that done in *November*. Since then, we’ve been waiting for the final piece of the agreed work to be done - the inspection. After weeks and multiple texts, I’ve had no reply. Unfortunately, this came as no surprise as regular updates and contact has been extremely difficult. We’ll be pursuing ways of getting the value of our inspection back and God knows what we’ll do if the inspection uncovers any faulty/unfinished work, which wouldn’t be a big surprise. I have no doubt that James is a good electrician for one-off jobs, but this project has been nothing but stress and I wish we’d chosen someone else!
