Wooden Doors - Internal
We only received 2 quotes (both verbal) via myjobquote one for £40 per door and one for £30 per door. After getting a couple of " follow up" calls from Val we decide to accept his quote of £30 per door. The work was done to a reasonable standard (if a little slowly) and when I offered Val the £180 in cash as payment he said it should have been £50 per door. He said it was £35 per door to hang each door and £15 each door to fit the handles and hinges. I said that the quote was £30 and he offered to take £40 per door. If you do decide to use this tradesperson then I would STRONGLY recommend you get his quote in writting.This has left a bad taste - He missed out on any future work in my opinion due to being greedy !

Val has done a great job installing our doors. He advised us on a few things that would be better for the fittings. He also did a few extra jobs for us without any extra cost. He is a very good worker and we have no hesitation in recommending him.
