Had a camera damaged, so could not carry out the job. Understand things happen. However, took us to call when they did not turn up! Would have been correct customer service to let us know beforehand.

MY POST: Foul smell in ensuite toilet on suspended timber floor in bungalow. Toilet flushes well and discharges horizontally through wall and via the base piece of an external vent pipe down into an adjacent manhole. A drain from a nearby property passes through the manhole. A pipe from a basin passes under the floor below the toilet and discharges underground to the manhole. Some possible causes include: leakage, broken pipes, blocked vent pipe at higher level, broken drain, smell from sewer. RESPONSE: This is an interim report as further work is required. It is written the day after the visit. Prompt reply and quote for a camera equipped survey and a survey was completed to identify the problem the same day. Now waiting for the report and a further quote for rectification work. The quote for the survey was £120 but this figure would not input when I tried to type it on the feedback form so I pressed ‘prefer not to say’ button to continue with the feedback form. One thing to note is that the trades required payment by bank draft, cash transfer, or cash. This was a little surprising as most trades have asked me for payment by card. I did offer cheque or credit card or debit card. I now have the cash ready for collection and will let the trades know this when I receive exact contact details on the report. There is no problem with payment. Overall I was very pleased with the response and visit and service to date.
