Powell's Plastering is a small plastering company based in the Surrey area, we are looking to take on all aspects of plastering work to grow and maximise our company to the best standards.
We offer free quotes on all our jobs.
We take on all aspects of plastering to skimming , rendering & pebble dashing.
Our company travels inside the m25 radius, but are always willing to stretch for our clients.
We always go the extra mile to leave our jobs as clean and tidy as possible.

Plaster Skimming
Powell’s quote was not the lowest of the three, but his reviews were excellent , they were saying things like - ‘attention to detail’, ‘ tidiness’ &’ high standard’. So I thought it must be worth the extra. Unfortunately I was very wrong, the standard was basic, and they did not pay any attention to detail. They did unscrew the sockets, but the still manage to cover the sockets in plaster. There were lots of flaws on the walls , around skirting boards, corners and window sills. I do wonder if this is one of those huge companies that employs several plasterers and it depends on who you get. The two guys that came were friendly and I have nothing against them. I had to sand all four wall and make some repairs , they asked me to contact them if I needed some repair- I did and they never returned the text.

Plaster Skimming
George is amazing! Not only his work is excellent but his manners and his ability to work around other people are what really make him the best man for the job. He was always extremely helpful, kind and considerate, ready to answer my questions at all times. It's rare to find someone as reliable as him (I wish there were more people in the trade like that). I will keep recommending his services to anyone who needs a plastering job done. Thank you so much George!

Internal Rendering
George re-plastered two medium sized rooms for me, including putting up plasterboard ceiling and skimming. He gave me a very good price, good advice, and he was conscientious, hardworking, and kind - an all round lovely chap. His work was of a good professional standard (nice smooth walls) and he tidied up after himself, including taking away all my rubbish for a small fee. The only aspect that could have been improved were some of the finishes in corners and around fittings - more plaster splattered on skirting boards, doors and windows than I was expecting. But I managed to clean these areas up without too much effort, using a chisel and wipe around with hot water, plus I plan to use a small amount of filler in some small areas to perfect the finish. I think overall George is a good choice, and you could always pay a bit extra if you want George to perfect the finishes for you before leaving. I would be happy to use him again and recommend him to others with the small proviso stated.

His work was carried out very well and he cleared up afterwards (not like some) I would recommend and call him again for other work when needed, he was also very personable and didn't need to have the radio on (unlike some) !!!
