Moved to Carlisle at the end of 2019 to be nearer my children full time, i've been a construction manager in London since 2003.
Over my time in London i've worked with many trades, but myself i've always been handyman, someone who can put their hand to most things stemming from my forces background.
Flat pack, painting and decorating, general house maintenance are some things i really enjoy, i work for myself so my quotes won't be inflated or over priced
moved to Portsmouth in April 2021 now working for landlords and builders, and jobs from this website when things are slow.

Rob contacted me to quote my job and he was very fair with his pricing. He painted my bathroom and bedroom and done a couple of other bits without asking. He was professional and tidy and sent me pictures of the finish rooms whilst at work. Great service, thanks again

Internal Painting & Decorating
I was disappointed with the wallpapering done. I contacted the tradesman to discuss my concerns but he's not replied. One feature wall was papered and the next day in the light I noticed half the seams weren't butted together and were very visible. There was smeared dried paste along some of the seams and also in patches on the ceiling. The edges of the paper where it meets the ceiling and adjoining wall were jagged in and was not a sharp clean cut. I hired a professional to do a professional job and this was sloppy. The tradesman was polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble but I wouldn't recommend. It's a shame when they don't even contact you to make it right.
